==Background==

Fasolt used to be a [[varl]] bandit alongside [[Ulfvalgr]], and the two were involved in raiding on human caravans, due to their hatred of their race and wanting to prove that the varls were superior to them. The two were always successful in their raids, but this caused them to stop caring about scouting their targets altogether as time went on.

Once however, Fasolt and Ulfvalgr unknowingly assaulted the caravan of an ambassador from the kingdom of men, guarded by troops led by the Varl King [[Jorundr]]. The two varls surrendered upon realizing their mistake, and were asked by him about their reason for raiding upon men. After they told him, he made them realize that they were the last vestige of their race and as such had the responsibility to protect its legacy, taking them to [[Einartoft]] to show them its bridge, which stated would ensure the legacy of the varls lived on even after they died.

Both Fasolt and Ulfvalgr chose to give up raiding, with the former offering his services to Jorundr, who wholeheartedly accepted it.

====Saga 1====
Fasolt has spent a lot of time with warriors under his command. Known for being something of a vicious commander who may have at one point been a brigand with a grudge against mankind, he's also one of the most respected for reliably getting the job done. Most recently he's been posted in [[Schlid]], holding off the [[Dredge]]. If Fasolt is anything, he's a [[varl]] loyalist.
====Saga 2====
As a varl loyalist and something of a vicious commander who may have at one point been a brigand with a grudge against mankind, Fasolt is no one humans want to meet. Most recently, he was believed to have died at the Battle of [[Einartoft]] following King [[Jorundr]]'s commands. He looks like he barely lived through the worst of it.
