Class: |
Juno is a female mender of great power and high position in their order. She is the mentor of Eyvind with whom she shares a romantic relationship.
Trivia[]
Juno is not a playable character in The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2. However, she is a catalyst of, and plays a major role in, the events of The Banner Saga in-game universe. She appears in Chapters 3, 5 and 7 of Part 1 and Chapters 8, 10, 12 and 15 of Part 2. She becomes playable in The Banner Saga 3.
Story[]
Warning, the following contains story-related spoilers for The Banner Saga videogame series.
Juno is a member of the Valka, the highest and most powerful class of menders, which reside in Manaharr. She is known for her great power and wisdom. Eyvind, who was the leader of the Valka had an unstable mind, which grew more and more uncontrollable alongside his power. Juno tried to find a cure for her beloved but when the other Valka discovered it, she was sentenced to death for trying to manipulate minds.
She was later resurected at the top of the White Tower, in the Underworld, by Eyvind. To do so, he used the energy of the Dark Sun and accidentally unleashed the Darkness on the World (as well as the Serpent, which was growing inside the Dark Sun).
Juno was later found unconscious at the tower of Ridgehorn by Hakon and his followers. However, since she was thought to be dead, she was left there. She tried to reach Eyvind at Sigrholm by ship, but the chasms created by the Serpent prevented her. She later joined Rook and the caravan near Boersgard, before it was attacked by Bellower and helped him fight the Sundr with a silver arrow.
Playstyle[]
- Wanderer is a good tittle for her, since the 4 movement bonus is also applied while dead, making her collect more health and willpower in one turn.
