This is a list of the playable and non-playable characters that you will encounter in the the first part of The Banner Saga.
Playable Characters
There are currently 25 playable character units that you will have a chance to use in battles, order here alphabetically. The characters marked with a (*) after their name will only be available under specific circumstances, depending on the choices you make along the story; all other characters are available for at least one battle. The characters marked with a (†) do not join your caravan, but only help in some battles.
